Overview

Link-Words are a type of word puzzle. They come in the form "X (...) Y". (...) is the word you are looking for. You are given the values of X and Y. (...), will always make a logical noun/verb/adjective if prefixed with X . Also, (...) will always make a logical noun/verb/adjective if suffixed with Y. Using these clues, you can work out the value of (...)


Example

QUICK (...) CASTLE


In the example, "QUICK" is X, and "CASTLE" is Y. So, think about what word could logically end "QUICK", as well as logically appear before "CASTLE". The answer is: SAND. You therefore form: QUICKSAND, and SANDCASTLE.
