Embedding your Wall into other Sites

If you would like to embed the above profile wall into other sites, you can include it like any other image.

Embedding into 'BBCode Based' Forums

Most forums support BBCode, but if the following code does not work for you, contact the webmaster of the site you wish to embed your wall into for help. However, in 90% of cases the following code will suffice:

[url=http://wonders-of-the-brain.co.uk/profile-5.htm][img]http://wonders-of-the-brain.co.uk/image-5.png[/img][/url]

Embedding into 'HTML' Websites and Social Networking Sites

If you want to embed the profile wall, into a website (including Facebook, MySpace) use:

<a href=http://wonders-of-the-brain.co.uk/profile-5.htm" ><img src="http://wonders-of-the-brain.co.uk/image-5.png"></img>

Customizing the Profile Wall

Customizing the Height and Width

The standard code above will embed a very large wall, which is frowned upon on some sites. (Please note, walls are dynamic images, and some sites do not allow images over a certain size) So, we advise you to check the rules of the site in question, and then adjust the following code to suit:

[url=http://wonders-of-the-brain.co.uk/profile-5.htm][img]http://wonders-of-the-brain.co.uk/customimage.php?id=5&h={insert px value}&w={insert px value}[/img][/url]

NOTE: Replace '{insert px value}' with the desired dimensions. For example some forums restrict image size to 200height by 350width. Your code would therefore be:

[url=http://wonders-of-the-brain.co.uk/profile-5.htm][img]http://wonders-of-the-brain.co.uk/customimage.php?id=5&h=200&w=350[/img][/url]

Time Delay Notice

Due to certain server and client restraints, the profile may suffer from delay when embedded in other sites. This is due to server-side and client-side caching. This is normal. The wall in its "propagated" state (meaning fully up to date) is available on DB's profile pages, but for check purposes only, the image displayed above is "current"; ie: it will be subject to the same time delay as when embedding in other sites. Please note, exceptions can be made.
